Recording Audio From Youtube

From what I have read, the quality of the YouTube audio is less than 360 kbps. So it is basically very low quality. Wondering why would you want to do that. You can get higher resolution from just about anywhere for a fairly low monthly fee.
 
Sometimes Youtube has the only version of a song or performance that is available, especially for live recordings. I used a couple of different programs over the years to capture the sound to add to my server for Roon to access. To me the artists performance is more important than what bit rate it was captured at.

I would just perform a search and you will be directed to several options. Some were easier than others.
