Really??

I like Transparent Audio and have for the last 10 years or so...you can get great deals on 2nd hand cables from Used Cable Co or from Audiogon. You can also try the folks at Paragon Sight and Sound...Larry is great. I think they must be one of the biggest dealers of Transparent and often can find 2nd hand or demo cables of whichever kind you wish. They also can help you determine in the newer versions whether you really need to recalibrate or whether you can do with out. One of the things that TA seeks to do is adjust for the impedance differences between the equipment. Does it work? In theory, yes...all I know is they work, and I have not been disappointed except by their digicable which for reason was just a disappointment. I use Zanden's proprietary i2s cable now in any event. Good luck...don't break the bank as much of the older TA Ref series stuff is absolutely great and can be bought for 25-35 cents on the original retail.
Agreed..... I heard the Sasha and the alexi and both were run off the 10 year old transparent reference. Which can be had used for a song. And both sounded wonderful!!

Wow cables are a maze. Thx for all the reply's. MIT looks strong as well but figuring out their line requires a degree from MIT. Any Shunyata dealers out there?

Thx!!

I feel the same way but will be looking for some cables in the future as a final purchase. So I may spring for something decent.
