Really dumb Lumin U1 question

I am unpacking a new U1 box and it does not come with a stock power cord to plug the power supply into outlet.

All I have on hand are a couple of unused 10A power cords. I will be getting nice new PCs soon but the question is — am I safe using a 10A cord for a short period of time with U1 Or is that dangerous?

Any help appreciated. Would love to set this up if it is safe.

Sorry for the dumb question!!!

I don't see that as a problem. The U1 should not consume anywhere near that much. Maybe an amp or two at the most. I'd use the cord you have until you can replace it.

I have the U1 and love it.

First reaction — why the F was I using a PC to play music all these years? I know U1 takes a bit to break in but I am thrilled with immediate sound.

Joe, any comment on improvement / break-in for the U1? See much change over First 500-1000 hours?

Mine is on and running almost all the time. The first few days to a week, everything seemed to fall in to place. Maybe some more improvement over the following weeks. I don’t remember much more after that. I do leave my display off and it's powered up all the time. I do use one of the Shunyata digital ac cords that are supposed to filter the ac going in. I am a believer in them. My Lumin is rock solid stable and wonderful to use.
