I finally got around to auditioning Raidho D2 today.They were just about broken in. They sounded very good. They were clear, filled the room nicely.the two mid base drivers shone through for me. They were very capable speakers. Were they as good as Wilson Alexia's. I'm not so sure I will try and audition the Alexia's on the weekend. I will report back.
There were base traps in the corners.I don't know If they were removed where they would have gotten better.
The one thing I did come away with was if I bought D2 I would forever not be satisfied with D2.I would always want D3.The D2 while a very good speaker I'm sure there is something more. I haven't heard the D3 but I'm sure when I do I will confirm my thinking.
So to compare Wilson Sasha sounds good But Alexia takes it to the next level clearly.
I believe that will be the difference between D2 and D3.
Money can't be the only deciding factor. For me you just have to save a bit longer.
In for a penny in for a pound.

Thanks for your thoughts - and I completely agree! I've heard all the Raidho speakers in the C and D line. The D2 is nice for a smaller room - 12 x 15 for example.

As for the Sasha vs Alexia analogy - I totally agree! You must hear the D3 if you're comparing to Alexia. Both are tops in my books. The Alexia's with D'Agostino is the best synergy combo I've ever heard.
 
Thanks for sharing. I hear you... Why not go to the top might as well eh? However the problem is finally when you save enough fund to purchase the D3 then you will see the D4 is coming.... Can't win. Lol

I heard about the D4 today. D3 may be as far as I want to go.

Hi,

There will be a new Raidho D-4 one day... BUT there is a lot of issues before we can introduce the D-4's... One major issue is that still are not able to put the Diamond coating on the cone... so there will not be any D-4 in the near future.. but one day we will have it ready :D.. of cause I know maybe know the D-2 better than much people, maybe not as good as kiwi lol
 
I hear the D2 at John's Audio Salon and the room is large mabe 18 X 25 and it sound it full and with authority, so in aroom like that there is no problems.

good morning Kiwi, I saw on AudioEnz that your raidho D2 are in Denmark for updating. I also see an appellation D2' s on forums??
is there a new version of the model D? what are updatings?
