Raging floodwaters swept a house down the Baker River in Warren, New Hampshire, on Monday, October 30. Severe storms blew through the New England region Sunday night, leaving 1.5 million people without power, according to local news reports. This video shows a house being destroyed as it was pushed under a bridge after floodwaters lifted it from its riverbank location.

Damn, so sad if it was your own house. Fun to watch though. Mother nature can be brutal.

Joe.......The video is a perfect example of the power and relentless force that raging water presents. Fortunately there was no one in that home. They would not have survived.

Thank goodness no one was hurt. But, seeing all your belongings get washed away must me an absolutely horrific experience. Seeing the flood waters of Texas and other areas takes my breath away. I just can't imagine.

Luckily, it was a vacation home and nobody was there.

The power of water and the ocean demands a whole lot of respect.

Well said. Water weighs approximately 1,700 pounds per cubic yard; extended pounding by frequent waves can demolish any structure not specifically designed to withstand such forces.

From the time the house collided with the bridge it was demolished and gone in 18 seconds. You don't mess with Mother Nature.
