I cycled my router and Mac Mini Roon Core tonight and Roon also did a complete new database installation, and now things are zippy and smooth again.

I'm glad that most of you seem to have the issue(s) solved.
In post #4 since local music files are involved, it would suggest a mesh-related issue. In the other cases that are Qobuz-only, I suspect power cycling your home equipment helped because this cleared the DNS cache, and might possibly allow you to stream from a different server in the server farm. This is speculation only and cannot be proven.
