These look pretty awesome. I first noticed Grant Fidelity selling a few pairs. Now I found the home website. Prices seem very reasonable and I'd love to know more.

Placed your order yet? Unless the ones Rachael is selling are different they are "some assembly required." There is a discussion about them vs the Spatials on AC. The guys at Verastarr Cable have a pair of each. They have upgraded the cables on both to "silver foil."

:)

Still researching Jack. I'd like Tannoy Cantebury or the new Arden and these PureAudioProject speakers with the wood horn. I also want Spendors if I keep the Triode amps. Oh, and I still crave the Heco bigger model speakers.

Obviously it's a dream right now. I love my JBLs and once I put my Strads back in the mix, I'll have a better feel for what I want but don't need

PureAudioProject will be exhibiting at:

Montreal Show
Axpona
California Audio Show in Oakland (or near there)

I've always been an open baffle fan. These could be a blast.

Oh I understand Joe. I want to try but don't need the new Spatial X-1's, the GE Triton Reference and the Aerial 7T. The Pure Audio would be a nice addition too and maybe easier to deal with than the X-1 which needs four channels of amplification and DSP like his earlier EP designs. So an outlay of less than half the price of the X-1 set-up. Then there are the multiple pairs of speakers sitting in the spare bedroom.

We are a crazy bunch. Always moving forward, trying new stuff, obsessing about gear we don't have. Sometimes doing the research quenches the desire, sometimes just the opposite. There might be room for one more of something. :)

Thank you for the link. All the options seem a little confusing to me. It's not second nature, yet. I may have some questions as I read more.

I bet they would be awesome with the Triodes or the Ayre's for that matter as Doug used the Red Dragon's. I would pair them with the Nord or the NuPrime though tube options are available. He had some pretty "heavy hitter" speakers in-house that he compared them to including big Legacy's and Vapor's.

Hi .
Pure audio project are going to be at the audio show in montreal this weekend. I'll be there. I will give you an report .

That would be awesome Diggy. Thank you for the offer. I am very curious. I have a short list of a few new speakers, at least ones that I am thinking about, and these are on the list.

Yesterday I went at the montreal audio show especially to listen to pureaudioproject speaker. I am a big fan of open baffle especially for their quality of timbre and absence of coloration of box* .*
Last year I went to the Taves Show in Toronto just to ear it. It was a superb listening.* but, I chosed to buy the spacial m3 turbo s especially for their lower price.. I do not regret my purchase but I admit that the Pureaudioproject* PAP-Horn1 Trio15 Speakers are slightly superior even if I haved never compare them with same electronic .*

Back to yesterday...

Intentionally I listened all rooms for finished with pureaudioproject room.
*I was surprised by the size of the rooms
Quite small. 12x20* approximately.* 3 row of 2 seat distance about 10 feet of speakers
Once seated I realized that the size of this room worked very well.. no problem of "boomy" bass .
I could even say that it was the best listening of the day.
Wow. A very realistic soundstage. A beautiful tone. A very well balanced sound with a lot of opening and weight . Great 3d effect.*

A memorable moment...

The model of speaker is the* PAP-Horn1 Trio15 Speakers
The source was a macbook usb output to a audio gd digital interface coaxial output to audio Note dac 5.1 to Audio Note 300b integrated. Speaker cable was verastarr grand illusion serie 2.

I have take 2 picture but i can't add .. i have only 5 posts count.

I have a good customer with a pair of PureAudio's (don't remember which model off hand he has). He runs his with a Line Magnetic 508ia integrated.

Thank you for the report Diggy. Much appreciated. I'm sure they are wonderful. Definitely a little higher on my list now.

I would be very much interested in the PAP's bass performance. I have the Spatial M3TS - they sound wonderful, open, dynamic, big soundstage, can surprisingly play very loud without distortion but for some reason I couldn't get two things right - the bass and depth. Maybe its my room or maybe the speakers need more space to breath, I haven't quiet figured that out (I still have it). Its not that it lacks bass but there is something missing from the music - I can't explain it properly. Some say that the bass in open baffle speakers are more accurate but the lack of something in the music also causes it loose much of the musical qualities than the box speakers. A pair of subs could well fix this issue but I haven't ventured that yet.

Having been enjoying PAP Trio 10 Voxativ for a year. Also make a lot modification of the crossover along the year.
