Mike, I can see why many people would like to make a digital copy of their treasured vinyl collection. Myself, I won't bother. Like many of us, I have so much music, both digital and vinyl, that I can choose to listen to great music in either format. But, whenever I want to listen to my music on vinyl, I want the whole experience. I want to take the time to search and select a record, ensure the record is clean and static free and go through the process of removing the turntable protective acrylic cover, cleaning the stylus, placing the record on the platter, placing the outer ring and center clamp on the record and give the record a final wipe with the cleaning brush and a final zap with the zerostat before listening. Most of all, I want to read, or in most cases re-read, the album notes and settle into my listening chair with a glass of single malt to listen. This whole process makes the music in my record collection special and different from the music on my server. It does not diminish my digital music in any way, but the idea of taking away that special feeling I get from the music in my vinyl collection trumps any convenience that copying it to digital would provide. The music wouldn't be the same, no matter how good the copy. All that being said, I bet the PS Audio product is excellent, as all of my PS Audio products are.
