PS Audio is entering the speaker market with what looks to be an interesting design.
aspen FR30 Loudspeaker – PS Audio
aspen FR30 Loudspeaker – PS Audio
I am not a fan of the look but would love to hear them.
Wonder if they will show them at the Florida Audio Show?
I am not a fan of PS Audio... and... $28,500 for PS Audio's first speaker.... sorry... but just got to say.... really.
Nope.

Who in their right mind buys a $28,000 speaker without hearing it?
What exactly does that mean? Or more explicitly - For a company with decades of experience with an owner who was mentored by Arnie Ludell who sell components in the four and five figure range and in a market with hundred thousand $+ speakers - exactly what does your reply mean?

I really am interested in how well they sell a speaker that nobody has heard and unlikely very few will, before purchasing.

I think there is a lot of bad-blood due to PS Audio going direct and burning their dealer network.
Also, destroying the resale value of their stuff on Audiogon by doing so...
Then why post at all about a product you know nothing about and would never consider?
With their 30 day return policy, then there is not much risk. In some ways this would be the best way to buy speakers. Listen to them with your own equipment and in your own room for a month. Better that than many other ways to audition speakers.
