I have been adding albums marked as 'Favorites' through Roon/Tidal into the MY Music/Favorites section of the Lumin app in Tidal but, for some reason , they are not showing up there now..Thoughts??

Ya gotta be looking at albums to add an album......so if you Are looking at albums of a certain artist then you save it should work. If have the album loaded already it just saves the single track that’s playing to your favorite track list. Sorta a pain and very confusing.

Dguitarnut...i might not have expressed my thoughts very well so i will try again..when i add an album through the Roon site and mark it as a 'Favorite' it should ...and everyrtime before tonight, with 200-300 albums, populated the My Music/Favorites folder in my Lumin app which allows my to play it there....especially as an MQA album , if it is one. The albums are not ..as of tonight... showing up in the Lumin app/ Tidal section in 'Favorites...'

Try re-booting the Lumin App and see if that helps. Usually solves most of the issues. Also is there a limit for that folder?

Jack/Peter...neither worked...How do I determine if there is a ‘limit’ to the folder.?

Has it stopped you on a round number like 200 or 250? Only way to test would be to take a couple out and see if it lets you put something back. Other than that power down and reboot back up all the devices in the chain as it could be Roon to Tidal or Roon to Lumin. Maybe Peter knows about the limits but I would think that would be a Tidal imposed limit. I weed out that folder every couple of weeks if I don't really listen to something that often.

Jack...interesting in that when I try to delete the albums it won’t allow me as it says I ‘dont Have permission’.havent seen that before. I tried deleting 4 albums and all said the same thing..I tried deleting them through the Roon app.can you delete through Lumin.

jack..it is now fixed..i restarted the computer and that corrected everything..thanks guys..dave

Sounds good Dave. At some point since you last used the system the IP might have "hiccuped" and the two units lost contact. I have to re-fresh the Aries in the second system once or twice a week when that happens. Using fixed IP's might or might not help.

I too have experienced the same issue with you Calloway. I turned off the power of the LUMIN and restarted and favorite albums showed up again. Strangely though I didn’t lose my playlists.
Can anyone tell me how to save individual tracks to my specific playlists rather than to favourite tracks. I am using the LUMIN app and Tidal.

There's a playlist button at the bottom left hand corner, below the playlist column in Lumin app.

You can save the whole playlist to iPad (and iCloud) by pressing Save.
You can save the Tidal entries to Tidal playlist by pressing Tidal button.

To force refresh the Lumin app for Tidal updates, switch to Tidal view, go to the top-level TIDAL by pressing the button above the view icons. Press that button again, and choose TIDAL again.

See if this suits your needs. If not, please check out Linn Kazoo app and see if it provides what you need.
