@cmalak: you're quite right in that the Thiels are an excellent partner for the Mac gear. I enjoy the combination enormously. I love the warmth and fluidity of the sound. Last night I played the OST from the last batman movie (I have a special spot in my heart for film music), which is a cd I truly appreciate. And I had the impression of hearing it for the first time. Best ever! All the sounds were there before, yet the tonal balance of what I heard last night was totally new. There was more coherence, less rapid switches between very loud highs and even louder lows. It was as if the fabric of the sound was better controlled (almost deliberately held in tight order), whereas what I heard - and must have enjoyed - before seems to me now as almost random... Amazing. Happy happy happy. That's what I am :)
