I think you have exceeded the maximum bend radius of the cable at the point where the cable enters the female end of the connector.

WW Silver Elektras 7's and Aurora 7's. I like the flat form factor. Part of multiple system upgrade so can't separate their imoact.

5 Shunyata Anaconda CX, one Python CX, two Zitron Alpha High current, one Alpha Digital and finally one Siltech G6 Ruby Hill.

That's more or less what got me going on this, I was using some pretty generic cables made by a small company.. I found myself always using cables that were a little too long, or a little too short. I decided to open one up one day..only to find Belden under the hood. At that point I thought hmmm, I can make these every bit as good as the store-bought ones..and I can build exact custom lengths. so off I went.
And now I also got to experiment on my own with connector types, grounding/shielding options etc.etc. :)

not at all. belden private labels for many mfrs, if you cut a cross section of the belden it incorporates the same const. methods of cables people pay 500+ bucks for.

All Siltech, from SPX-20 to Ruby Mountain.
Careful though: the stranded ones sound different from the solid cores, so better try before you buy.

I'm quite taken with the ones made by Wywires - Kaplan Audio and Swiss Cables, yet the ones I use daily are Triode Wire Labs ( being the particle sort that I am, and there's a difference between being practical and cheap ) to my ears, it merely comes down to price vs performance, and after borrowing quite a few of the exotic ones over the years via the Cable Company - some good, others no so much, it's about what forms synergy within any given system regardless of cost, that caught me off guard.

O_oh, and to me! every cable makes a big difference! it's just those naysayers that aren't willing to admit their hearing is shot! that think otherwise.

We've dealt with GutWire for a long time, but recently took on Furutech as well. Their power stuff is very impressive too. On the Furutech cord I've been playing with, I've found a reduction in noise and an increase in transparency while remaining very smooth. Between the two brands, it just gives us more options right now.

Well said.

I'll be trying the top of the line Kimber PC's this week.
