Power Cords - what's your favorite?

Note that smaller AC cords don't really limit current. A 14AWG cord can carry 150 Amps of current until the insulation melts.

The best I've tried so far that's within reason (for me) is the Shunyata Alpha-X NR. Replacing an Alpha V2 NR to my Esoteric K-01XD with the Alpha-X was a wow moment.

Cardas Clear Cygnus loom here. - All the cords/cables, with a Cardas Nautilus power strip. They lowered the noise (which I didn't realize was there), more dynamic range, extended and clear lows and highs, beautiful rich mids, but that's just my ears and my particular system of course.

Thanks for the Cygnus power cord suggestion. Investigation shows 13gi tin plated copper wiring. I have completed DIY interconnects, and speaker cables with tin plated wires. These would be a great addition. I’m still a bit leary of making my own DIY cables. Not impossible though.

I’ve always liked the Cardas stuff.
