Here is what I discovered, with the last note being almost comical at least to me:

Transparent Power Cables that came with my Pre and Monos:

- Pioneer Elite Plasma. Since new it always made a hum, noise was reduced by 90% after installing
- JL Subwoofer on home theater, no difference noted between OEM, Shunyata, left it in.
- Marshall 100 watt head, considerably reduced the noise floor on this tube amp

Nordost Purple Flare C7 (figure 8) cables, a real low cost benefit:

- Mac Mini, my back up to Aurender N10. I purchased the Mac Mini being frugal securing the lowest model, I forget what the processor is and the ram but it was super slow opening applications and processing. The Mac Mini is 1 year old. I installed a Nordost C7 new cable and everything runs and opens incredibly faster, night and day and believe I see slightly sharper graphics on a cheap monitor.

- I installed these on Apple TV, and it they also run faster, and picture seems better

Now I used the Nordost Purple Flare but I think other brands would work in a similar manner.

And for comedy, I used a Nordost Blue Heaven laying around on a $3000.00 Saeco Espresso Machine. It starts up and heats up faster and actually did make the brew head clean with more authority, and the controversial statement, it may of made a better espresso, seemed creamier - call me crazy, I know.

Maybe the wife will now appreciate power cables when drinking her 100% Kona coffee and my famous iced coffees.

What, no power conditioner on the espresso machine? Maybe some Bybees? How about acoustic treatment. Some machines can be noisy.

HMMM, my toaster always toasts the sides of a slice unevenly. I wonder.....:doubtful:

It would be a shame not to try one on the toaster, to see if you can't have a complete high end breakfast

Does that Espresso Machine have it's own Dedicated AC Line? If not, you may get odors from the fridge mixing in with the electrons.

Actually it does have its own 20 amp circuit as does all the appliances.

That is one good looking head of Crema. I'm gonna hypothesis with you. Pressure makes espresso better. Consistent power = hotter liquid and stronger pump?

My music server is one of the most sensitive devices to power cords.

I’ll take you through it when we get together
