I purchased some new equipment and need to purchase some Power and Interconnect cables (RCA). Here are the three options I was looking at:

1) XLO - Signature 3 and Reference line
2) Cardas - Clear Sky or Parsec
3) Synergistic Research - Power Cables UEF Blue or Black and Type 2 Interconnects.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Asking for reccomendations on cables is like asking for a reccomendation for a good restaurant.
What is good to your (or your system) may not be the same for someone else.
If you have any audiophile friends, try borrowing some of their cables for a trial.
The cable company also has a lending library.
There are many great cables out there, finding the ones that work with your gear and that will please your ears is the trick.
Good luck on your journey.

Hi Clipper,
You might want to talk about your equipment that is existing in your system.
Members with some of the same manfacturers product might offer what has provided different sounds in their system.

Hi, I'm a new to this site and was in the process of adding my system at the bottom of my posts. Can you tell me how to do it?

Edit you signature under settings. As far as recommendations I agree with Brad and Jade. Just remember you will get recommendations based on their personal preference which most likely isn't the same as your opinion. Let me add what do you want from cables?? More clarity - musically or something else?

Thanks George... I am looking for a warm and neutral sound. I will update my equipment selection and perhaps this will shed some light as to the type of sound I am looking for. I do agree that the best way it to audition with my equipment.

Room size and placement would also add a hair more info. But given whatever you own it's possible to get an idea of the sound if you have a dealer that can demo all cables you're considering. I went to several dealers with my speakers before making my first step into the audiofool world LMAO!!!!!

Room size is fairly small 10x11. Carpet and with some room treatment. Does the tweeking ever end? lol
