Tommy has a couple of solo albums, started with a band called Zephyr, played with Deep Purple. Can't believe you never heard this before.

Sorry, for wrong impression, I've known this song for decades and have the Teaser album. I have not heard Zepher though and will have to see if I can find some samples.

Billy Cobham’s Spectrum is a phenomenal album. Also very cool for showing off a wide and deep sound stage. Some of the drum solos Billy Cobham does are amazing.

My ex-wife’s Dad grew up with Tommy Bolin. He was in a band called Zepher, did a couple solo albums and also was in Deep Purple for a bit, as well as the James Gang. My ex father in law had all sorts of cool bootleg tapes of Tommy playing with the top names in music. I recall a cool blues Jan with Hendrix that blew my mind. Sadly drugs got the best of him... Tommy and my ex father in law. And the tapes are long gone.
