I count myself lucky as all hell to have had a friend that let me drive his '65 GT350R. Yes that's R as in the Race Car with the aluminum heads and Paxton blower. His was a backup car, never raced. Incredibly fast, pitchable, steerable with your right foot at about any speed - superchargers are so much fun!

John, you are a lucky person indeed. Things like that as we grew up & took as everyday life, we didn't understand that they were literally racing into our future to be cherished....

Same friend, Tom, was a SB Ford wizard and a real Ford guy with (3) '65 'stangs, a Pantera and a Mk ll.
