Elon Musk asked a good question related to the Turbo version.

What does the Turbo stand for in an all-electric car?

Just as GT, GTO. R/T, LTD, XL........all became nomenclature for defining levels of trim, I am guessing Porsche now will now use it to define their top performing vehicles. For several years they have been putting turbos on vehicles that they don't badge as a Turbo. Go figure.

Enjoying my i8 hybrid; never have the concern of running out of electric charge in the middle of nowhere

What is so ridiculous is the "turbo" model ie there is not turbo with an electric motor just a marketing ploy to get another $50,000 for a software change.

:D. No David. The Turbo is currently the "base" Taycan. You pay $35k to move to the "Turbo S".
