Pops and Snaps, there must be a beached dolphin nearby.

Even the pops and snaps... I take them as parts of analog music. And there are so special feeling about the vinyl.

They are just like the home made food from your mother.....:)

Andre . Now we all know you don't like the pops and snaps... you don't have to remind us every time.

@ Rob: Andre is not shouting, that's his own style. Me, it don't bother me for a second.

@ Paul: Some people they talk a lot, others we never hear from them.
Some like repeating things, myself included, others they never say the same thing twice.
Some people are interesting, sometimes, others less so, sometimes.
Some people we love more than others.

Life is full of people, and accepting everyone the way they are is a good thing.

* We did good, us Canadians, @ the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi. ...Right on!

MRACOUSTAT
why are you shouting ?

When everything is in bold, that is shouting in internet language. SAME WITH ALL CAPS !!! LOL

For you ohbythebay it's shouting, but for me it's thinking of the older people like ME that don't see to well, the bold function is there to use or not to use i will accept you not using it all i ask is that you accept me using it if it's a problem for you i'm sorry but just ignore my posts you don't have to read me sorry.

PS: Is this better ?????

Thanks for posting this... cruising through threads and then being confronting all bold text is like trying to read some asshole's web design using white text on a black background (there are plenty of audio websites that do this). Too much contrast--switch back to a regular page and your eyes take a while to re-adjust. Bad UI. And on the webs or in email, just bad manners.

I have personally read his zero tolerance for "not one pop or snap" numerous times on numerous forums. It's not an endearing statement to lots of audiophiles.

Bob....I like everybody ( including you and Andre ) I don't mind people repeating them selves either. However Let me point out couple of things here.

Andre is the one who told us not to force him to like the analog sound and we got it and no one ever force him to like analog sounds in AS . Now he posted negative things about the analog three times here. Why ? As you know I'm a totally digital guy like Andre. Did you ever see me say " I counted 5 times snaps and pops on first few seconds audition ? " with bold and highlighted letters ? If you want us to respect you ? you should respect us as well. Also I just don't want to see same happens on here on AS as like what happened on Canuck Audio Mart to him.

And Yes I'm so proud be Canadian :)

I love you too Paul.

Andre has his own character; on the Internet I got/get to know him and simply accept his own style.
I know you do too, and all of us we sometimes say what's on our mind, which is mighty fine.
...Personally, that's how I grow up with everyone around/in my world. ...I register, adapt and then I adjust for the better.

It's hard to tell someone, even in a friendly tone, to adapt to our own set of values; much harder than us to adapt to theirs.
We are all receptive to positive criticism; me, you, Andre, and everybody else. :)

* I believe that Andre is at a threshold of a renewed transformation.
I can understand his state-of-mind, after being ejected from his regular home (audio site).
All of us we need to reflect in our interactions with others. ...Like music, it's an art.
