Please forgive me!

To Mike and his family, you always have my thoughts and prayers. To my other dear friends here at AS, my prayers are with you all as well.

I am sorry for those suffering and struggling. Hug your loved ones and remember to appreciate the time we have with them.

Mike...sorry to hear your Mom is battling such a tough disease. My thoughts are with you and your family and with all the AS members with loved ones going through a tough time.

Thank you Mark, Mike, JAX and everyone. One day at a time....

Mike
My prayers and thoughts go out to you and your Mom during this very difficult time and also to everyone else.

Mike sorry about your news. I know she is a great lady cuz she made you. :)

David, while I know you aren't referring to me sincve I haven't mentioned this in our chats, but my Mom entered hospice last week (Alzheimers). Eighty-four great years but an awful way to leave the party. I just wish her peace now.

To all others with current difficulties (or for that matter all others period), we all need to dig deep and find a way to accept the bad that life serves up; slow down and enjoy to the fullest the good when it arrives (and it always does); and most importantly be there for those we care about in either case.

Rock on Sharks!

Paul,

Awesome post and beautiful words. Thank you for that. I'm so sorry about your Mom. She raised a wonderful son too.

Thanks Paul. So sorry to hear about your Mother.

Well, seems like more than a few needed our prayers. It's great that we can lift one another up from time to time.

There are people who are going through tough times on the forum. We know some of them. My mom has terminal brain cancer for example. Life challenges like these make bass problems seem so insignificant.

Mike Mi Man! Sorry about your mom! I'm praying and will put her you and this forum on the prayer list.

A nice request David, and simple to respond, that we take a moment to ask God's grace and peace settle down upon those struggling with life's challenges. A reasonabe time to count all our blessings as well. Some of these life challenges remind us of our humanity, that regardless of status or level of success some things are common to us all, and they tend to be the most important things to which others pale in comparison. Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers.

And I heard it once said, we are all in one of three positions in life -- either were coping with one of life's challenges, we are just coming out of dealing with one, or the phone call is coming tomorrow. So none of us is immune. I'm doubling up on my prayers. God bless the sharks and your loved ones.

I have no reassuring answer to share about the human condition we are all born with. Aging along with life's roulette of afflictions is a cruel joke of evolutionary engineering that gets us all in the end. All I can say is that the commitment to your own happiness is the biggest gift that you could ever share with someone.
