We don’t have a dedicated room so system sits in the main level and very happy with the sound!

That is a great set up. That pre amp is great.
 
a snap of my glacially evolving working-man's system... new rack and amplification since the last post. as mentioned earlier, such great systems in this thread... if i ever heard any of them i would certainly have to burn mine.

How big is the room and how would you describe the sound of your Børresen speakers?

My room is around 45m2 big and there is no sound pressure in the room. If I need to compare borresens to my old raidhos Borresens are very neutral, tweeters are faster and there is no bass issue at all. They are pure magic to me.

Update - Duo Mezzo XD replaced with Trio 26 LE plus 2 subs - REL Carbon Special.
A second integrated - small but mighty Circle Labs A100 replaces from time to time an upgraded Ayon Crossfire 3.
