You can always tell when Jim had a hand in setup as the speakers are way out from the front wall! Beautiful room and setup. Well done.
Thanks. I already had them about 6-7 feet from the front wall but Jim pulled them out farther than I ever would have dreamed of -- by anchoring the seating position, of course. Luckily I had the flexibility to reconfigure the room to put the sofa in the best spot for the most even bass response, so we did nothing with the DSP on the basshorns and only boosted their volume by 4-5 dB. But as Jim proved, while distance from the front wall can be helpful, finding the sweet spot for the listening position is the key.
