Pass Labs amp users: Do you use a tube preamp with your Pass amp ? Which one ? ...

I'm also looking at Pass monos for My Thiel CS 3.7s as potential upgrade, probably XA160.8 would be powerful enough ?
Regarding preamps which would be the best match between the VAC Master and the AR Ref6SE ?
I want something very engaging and organic thanks.
 
I sold pass my xa25 when I changed speakers to Harbeth 40th anniversary 30.2s...a year or so later now the Harbeths are gone and I set up my refurberbed Snell JIV's..and guess what..I bought a pass xa25 again..lol..still using my Mac C2300 and it's sounding soooo good with the old Snells.
