Well couple months ago I was searching for some cheap power cables for my amps. I was looking for something to use until I could afford to lay out some money for some nice power cords. So I found the Pangea ac9's at audio advisor for $79 each. I bought em and got em 2 days later and first I couldn't believe how fat these were. They are 7 gauge and are a little stiff but workable to snake the way they need to be run to fit my setup. I plugged em right into the amps and they were dark and dreary and muddy but still quieted down everything and deepened the soundstage. Lol. So I unplugged em and ran 1 in my CD player plugged into the wall and one on my tv and left em running for 3-4 days. Then put em back in my amps and they were awesome. The bass was better the stage deeper and wider. The separation was better. The highs(because of my Pre) were as liquidy and endless as ever. The midrange more foward. All in all a great improvement for just $79 each!
This week I bought a Pangea ac14se for $49 for my preamp and tried it . Same thing very dark and muddy. So I plugged it into my tv for a few days and now I'm listening to it . Did the same thing . Quieted down the soundstage and made it deeper. Bass in my system is very tight and accurate but not super deep. It added a little depth to it. And the midrange is shining like it has not before.
So all in all I now have no desire To get rid of these for better pc's.
I can't believe the sound quality these 3 cables added for just over $200 for all of them.
Are these comparable to the high priced super cables? Probably not but for the price if your running stock cables , you owe it to your system to give these a try. I'm a believer and I just saved a few thousand dollars cause I'm keeping these in my system.

That's great Steve! There are true high end values out there. Glad you found one of them.

I have been using their power cables for a couple of years now. A friend recently brought over some very expensive power cables and they were easily better, in my system. I agree that the Pangea's are a good value.

I started with Pangea AC14Se and AC9 cables. As you noticed, they made a positive improvement. However, they did not offer a cable with a 20 amp connector, so I couldn't use them on my amps. Later I got two Shunyata Venom cords for the amps, and was so impressed I ended up going all Shunyata.

Oh believe me I already thought about putting a real nice one on my pre at least.lol!!
I been looking around.
Just think they are a great value and well worth the money.

I like finding things that hit far above their price point too. If you like the way they sound and what they do for your system, it's all good. You spent a little $$ for a definite improvement. Will a 2K PC sound better, yeah probably but I don't know if it will sound $1920.00 better. I find that while there are improvements as you go up in price, the value of doesn't follow.
