Well, just an hour ago, our family lost another sweet kitty of over 30 years! His name was Puzz and my grandmother got him as a kitten when I was only 14 years old! 14 years old and I am now 44! Yes, Puzz lived for over 30 healthy years! Though the last month or two, he declined rather quickly, especially in the last couple of weeks. Poor Baby Puzz. He will definitely be sorely missed by all.

Charles.......So sorry to read of your long time kitty friend's passing. It is no doubt Puzz was loved and well taken care of to have lived so long. My condolences for your loss.

Charles, I’m so sorry for your loss. I can’t believe it, 30 years old!! Truly amazing. Such a great run and sweet kitty. Beautiful photos.

Hi Charles,
Losing a pet is one of the hardest things in life.
Pets enrich our lives, and we are all the better for their presence.
You gave him an excellent life and I’m sure he was happy that you were in his life too.

Yes. My thoughts go out to you and your family. He lived a very very long life - you and he were lucky.

Charles...so very sorry for your loss. I am 62 and owned cats all my life so I truly feel your loss. I am so amazed that Puzz lived 30+ years. That must be a record. The oldest cat I owned lived to be 19 years old and I thought that was a very long time for cats.

Thanks everyone for the warm words and prayers.

Puzz was something special, to be able to live that long. No special food or anything like that either, though just like with the rest of the cats, they do get the good, healthy food that you buy at either the vets or animal stores. Not the typical stuff you find at the grocery stores and such.

There are literally years worth of wonderful memories to go around about ole' Puzz. I'm certain we'll all be talking about him this weekend when we all get together.

What a cute kitty, I’m so sorry his 9th life has run out. I know it’s going to be hard when our Romeo passes, he is 23.

Sorry for your loss. He does deserve a story hour or two. Many memories I’m sure.

I’m very sorry for your loss. 30 years is incredible. You had a very special baby there. [emoji3590]

Sorry for your loss...

30+ years is indeed incredible.

He resembles our 16 year old cat, that is still very fit.
It gives me hope!
