We made a few changes to our bedroom a couple of months ago. New curtains, different lighting, and a better mattress were all supposed to help us feel more comfortable at night. The room is definitely cozier now, but so far, I haven't noticed as much of a difference in how rested I feel as I had expected.
What surprises me most is that on some nights, I sleep seven or eight hours without any problems and still don't feel properly rested the next morning. On other days, I seem to need fewer hours of sleep and feel much more energetic. Of course, I understand that stress, physical activity, and many other factors can play a role. Still, I wonder whether there might be something I'm overlooking when it comes to setting up our bedroom.
While researching possible solutions, I came across various wellness products, including Somavedic. According to the manufacturer, these devices are associated with well-being indoors and various aspects of the sleep environment.
I'm particularly interested in three things: Has anyone tested a device like this over an extended period? Have you noticed any changes in your sleep or overall well-being? And have you tried documenting those changes in some objective way, rather than relying solely on your initial impression?
