NuPrime ST-10 amp

Has anyone heard this next generation development from the brains at (formerly) NuForce? I've been hearing some good buzz about this amp which incorporates the latest thinking from the minds that brought us the NuForce Ref 18 & Ref 20 monos. The ST-10 is rated 150 W into 8 ohms @$1600.

Nice choice Chris - the Raidhos and Scansonics all like fast amps , especially Class D varietals. Lars told me they had a lot of success on the Scansonics with the Naim Supernait 2 & the entry level Simaudio integrateds.

I would be interested in what you think of the Nuprime amps compared to the W4S as I would like to try either an ST-10 or an ST-500 Mk II. Only thing curious about the Nuprime is they are using the same RMS numbers for both 8 and 4 ohm like NAD does. Might mean they would have problems with speakers that are less than"friendly" to drive. The NuForce amps didn't have those issues and apparently neither do the W4S amps. That was even mentioned in one of the reviews of the IDA-16.

Sorry to interrupt your nuforce st 10 amp, wich by the way, i recently compared with the parasound zamp v3 on a paradigm sig s2 v3, the difference were very noticible, to sumerize, the parasound make them sound like a speaker, the nuforce gaves a lively sound, really impresed.
What i wanted to ask to CDlehner is about the scansonic mb 1, how it sounds? do you think its better than a raal ribbon tweeter bases speaker? or a beryllyum based speaker?

Sorry Fausto; I really can't say...as I've never owned either (at least, that I know of).

I'm a soft-dome guy ;)
