Sure. I’m just offering my gratuitous, antecedent opinion that 6 moons is a psuedo-sesquipedalian and a genuine hose bag. 🙀

6moons tests Rev D. Praises for "flexi-fi" opamps rolling. Chooses the brighter SI opamps, and concludes the amp is "leaner and with lower harmonics" as the other references. Why not test Sparkos opamps instead?? Go figure...

Wish I could but I’d be on cat food for months. My MK II will have to do! I expect the preamp will be a terrific pairing with a Nord amp. 👍🤑👀😿

I get the feeling SixLoons favors a sonic aesthetic similar to his writing and web design. The more neutral gear which I own or would like to own (NC500, W4S STP-SE) seems to be more admired than loved.

Can you tell us anything about the transformer used in this preamp? Are they the same SILK units used by ICON?
 
In Srajen's previous testing of the Nord he preferred the SI over the Sparkos so logical for him to assume a similar sonic signature with the new op amps but that is apparently not the case. He does though have an affinity for a certain type of amp with the Job, Kinki and others coming to mind. He has however been a big supporter of smaller companies like Nord. Though his reviews can be difficult to wade through at times I think he genuinely is trying to do the right thing.
 
Seriously, the small companies that he has brought attention to and helped including Nord have a different opinion. The fact that he chose to review the amps with Colin's favorite op amp all the way back to the Rev. C boards is his choice and probably Colin's. The fact that you don't agree with their choice is not relevant to what he heard in his system. Srajen is at least willing to give the little guys a chance which most of the "big name" publications won't.
 
Relevant? Really? It’s a forum, which invites discussion. Reasonable people can disagree. I disagree. I think he is an arse.
 
Why don't you just contact Colin and find out how the amp was supplied to Srajen and why before popping off because you prefer something different. If Colin supplied it one way it's not up to the reviewer to change the product. Also you don't want a discussion or you wouldn't make the statements you make using the language you do.
