Not sure where the right place to post this is, so it's here.
If you have not noticed when shopping for furniture, almost all sofas and chairs have a seat depth that does not allow most women to place their feet on the floor unless they are 5'9 or taller. We have been searching for years for a smaller Rocker-Recliner that would better fit my wife so she does not have to place several pillows behind her to shorten the seat depth. We found a model by Best Furniture a year ago that was a Petite size but decided to shop around. When we realized that nobody else carried the smaller chair we returned to the original location to find they no longer sold Best products because of quality issues.
So we kept looking. We did buy an Ekorness chair several years ago after spending a week in Norway and being introduced to that line, but we were not fully happy with it for the money and returned it.
Several months ago, at same store, we found a few really nice recliners by IMG Norway. From the owner, we came to learn that several of the models come in different sizes, Standard being the smaller model that fit my wife nicely. The whole lineup of recliners are also swivel-gliders, not rocker so the motion is much nicer. They each have a mechanism at the back of the chair to lock the gliding motion leaving just swivel reclining. All the models can be had in 4 grades of Leather, Vinyl or Fabric. They all can also be fitted with electric reclining handled by 2 little silver non moving buttons on the inside arm of the chair. The normal Reclining mechanism is also between the cushion and arm on the inside so it is not awkward reaching over the side to pull the lever.
We got the Crown in Standard size with Trend Graphite Leather. Well we ordered it. It will take close to 4 months to get it so we are really looking forward to getting it.
