i have it for demo at home includimg the clock.
The short answer is, tears have flown out of my eyes, yesterday and today again.

another short answer is that digital now finally is FAR supirior over vinil, just about in the way it is suposed to be. Yes, that dramatic.
New Level of playback and nothing to be afraid about, it sounds utterly beautiful as a whole.
 
Sounds interesting. The site didn't give much tech info unless I missed it. Doesn't seem to have representation in the U.S. yet. Where is retail pricing?

I was curious how this 1 bit differed from what Phillips and Technics used to call 1 bit.

The website suggests that Bill Parrish at GTT Audio is the US source for Master Fidelity products.

from what i understand the time wasnt ready for multiple reasons then.
And you got to go through a number of prototypes and each cycle cost millions.
The results thouse times were so far off that they stopped after first try.

yes, i do know what you mean and also what i have written:)
If you do think about what the main problem of digital playback is, where the digital artefacts are created, well,
it is either the delta sigma process or @fpga the never ending bit unprecision.

and now, that topic has gone!! the bottleneck is wide open:)

it doesnt sound just better, it does play on the point for the first time, the only source on the planet that can fly.
My own dac is a Nagra hd X. It is a good dac, however, again, the Nadac is not just better, it is something completely else.

Some time ago i sold my heisenberg monos and also the nagra hd pre and downgraded to a humboldt integrated.
Very very, VERY frustrating experience.

the nadac does noet only sound better than the nagra, no, not only.
The Nadac with the humboldt sounds better than:
the nagra hd x with nagra hd pre and heisenberg.

honestly! a lot better, while it seems absolutely impossible.

I hope anybody will have the chance to explore, as it does change everything...in a perfect way.

unfortunately you should add the clock for another 30K.
I cant say how it sound without clock. No intetion to touch anything and try without
 
Now, forgive me if I am incorrect here (and I very well may be)....but DS chip, even when using an fpga circuit, still has to be filtered. So, I am a little bit confused here.

Please let me know if you have ever heard an R2R DAC versus a DS DAC. If that is the case, then I understand where you are coming from, but I still can't fathom it besting vinyl. (Even with it's own deficiencies and limitations).

I have had DS DAC's before, some pretty good ones too, but compared to a well implemented R2R? Night and day difference to me...and no filtering.
