Is it my imagination or does it appear you are mounting the table to the top of a resonant cavity?

Hard to say without seeing the table without the platter. Doubt the "plinth" is hollow though. Sure it's solid but time will tell. Or Jonathan. :)

Don't know but is on Jonathan's site now. The longer one is in high-end, the more you realize things seldom come to fruition as expected. Same goes for review samples showing up at the front door.

I wonder if that top perimeter strip is an actual hold-down perimeter ring similar to VPI's and Clearaudio's. That LP looks very flat.

Is that Durand arm mounted on an arm pod or is the arm support fixed to the table itself? It would be interesting to see another DD come to market at a lower price point. The NVS and VPI are pretty expensive.

I was wondering the same thing about the arm. Hard to tell from the picture.

IIRC the top NVS is 3-4 X the price of the VPI. So purely guessing, I'd guess this table is is the vicinity of but more than the VPI. But pure speculation.

That's a Durand arm. I can tell by the way the cartridge is mounted. If I'm wrong, I will eat a Big Mac.

I remember the NVS being about $45,000 and the VPI is $35,000 so I would say they are in the same ballpark.

Perhaps the NVS is much more expensive now.

I remember when the NVS was supposed to sell for around $25k.

VPI is 30K with the arm. I think the NVS is more plus because the price did go up after the initial announcement plus it comes without an arm.
