Did WE ever start production of the KT-88 tubes they promised years ago? The stated price of the WE KT-88 tubes way back then was eye popping.

Given the history of how long it took WE to bring their 300B back into continuous production when they had the original tooling/machines and recipe, I wouldn't hold my breath for other tubes to start being made in significant quantities.

Having said that, we should root for their success and hope they don't charge a fortune for each tube.
