Yesterday I visited a thrift shop that is run for the benefit of a hospice where I found a treasure trove of about 500 lp's, mostly classical and opera, which are in pristine condition for $0.80 each! They appear to be from the collection of one individual who had good taste and was meticulous in the care and handling of each record. There were even a few which had never been opened. I was told there were many more in the back room which would be brought out in the next few weeks as space allowed. I brought home about 40 lp's and am in heaven. Of course, I will go back!![]()
