Maybe you can build a cable adapter in the SR-Z form with a built in QR/BB device so you can daisy-chain two (or more) cables together to achieve a longer reach.Get a 5-15R to C14 adapter which allows you to daisy chain multiple power cables and connect them to a fan.
After 2 weeks of casual listening, things are starting to sound pretty great here with the wall -> Sigma NR V1 -> PS Audio P10 -> Sigma NR v2 x2 -> devialet combo.
I must confess that I have a hard time understanding the physics of cable burn-in, but I have to admit that the sound did improve beyond any possible doubt.
cheers,
bernard
Now, all you need is a Denali V2 so you can experience what the QR/BB device brings to the "equation".
At this point the Everest probably makes more sense but yes. [emoji3]
I am already tired at the thought of having to move the P10. I increasingly dislike heavy pieces of audio equipment.
The concern then is that there is going to be very little left to improve... Does it mean I’ll finally get to listen to some music? [emoji12]
Cheers,
Bernard

It always becomes final when you want it to be, and in most our cases we can’t seem to get there [emoji851]

I’m hoping that the Everest will be my last power conditioner. I also owned several P10s and their weight became most apparent when I needed to ship them back to PSA for servicing.
Years ago, I used to share with my mom all the audio stuff that used to buy. She asked me, “Do you ever get time to listen to the music?” She had a point.![]()

Your last and best power conditioner.
Crank up the music and start the party.
The stork is due to arrive tomorrow![]()
Congrats.
Let it settle for a week before drawing any "serious" conclusions. Having jumped from Denali v2 to Everest, what I will say is the improvement across the board is not subtle.
Denali notably outperforms other PD's, but Everest is completely in another class by itself.
Just like the mountain.
Thanks for the advice and encouragement. Shunyata has not let me down yet. I am aware of the break-in time and will not make quick judgments. Needless to say I am a bit excited. BTW, I have Denali’s scattered among our main home and vacation homes. Both my wife and I like what they do for video too.
Our XC cables arrived over a week ago and have been burning in. Everest 8000 number one landed last night. I’ll crack it open today. Omega XC is ready to feed the Everest.
Very exciting! Are you going to compare PCs on the Everest or is it the Omega XC only?
I get my Everest on Friday. Will be using my VH Audio Trans PC for it (which is what I'm using on my Triton v3 currently). Just mentally can't get over the hump of buying an $8k power conditioner and then spending that same amount on a cable for it (although that grey finish looks amazing aesthetically with the Everest - not that it matters though given that no one but me will see that cable behind the rack). I'll probably try the Sigma NR v2 at some point for my monos to see if that's a PC that can finally dethrone the King Cobra CXs in my system (will be interesting as my cables are all copper throughout).
We do have Sigma XC, Alpha XC and Omega XC. I doubt we will be comparing. We will stick with the Omega XC on the Everest, Sigma XC on the Denali and Alpha XC on the Hydra.
