Hi, all!
I have a background in music recording, film and video post-production, and was a tech setting up demo and screening rooms for a well-known A/V technology vendor.

My current home-theater system has an Onkyo 7.1.4 pre, Hypex amps, pre-production prototype Citation 7 mains, Parasound Atmos speakers, and Atlantic 15" subs. (mostly surplus tradeshow gear)

I'm looking to build a proper stereo listening system for music - but am waiting to find the right deals for me on the speakers and gear. Hoping to find some used Focal, ATC, or Sonus-Fabers for the mains, or maybe PMC. I also toured the Magico factory a while back, but those are probably even more outside my budget, even used...

I wasn't aware Parasound had any speakers. The speakers on your used list have a diverse range of sound character.

We have a great and active Pacific Northwest Audio Society in the Seattle area - meeting in Kirkland almost every 1st Saturday of the month. We also have a very active and very accomplished DIY loudspeaker building community.
