New Lumin X2

I just heard the Lumin X2 streaming from Qobuz at a local dealer and it was a revelation. Totally relaxed presentation with a great sense of space and natural decay which I've rarely heard from digital. It seemed to do it all, recreating depth with great dynamics yet with a smooth engaging quality that just drew you into the music. I think they've got something special in the X2 with their new discrete DAC and its overall design. Personally I wish it had some digital inputs (like SPDIF and USB) besides the network connection, but that doesn't seem to be an objective of this product design. Kudos to the Lumin team!
 
Very intriguing product, but the lack of USB/AES inputs would be problematic for me. I also wish Lumen would ditch the top cover overhang that IMO adds nothing but makes cable attachment awkward/difficult.
