New Integrated SI-300.2d

Has any one heard this integrated? My son is thinking about buying one now that they are being heavily discounted. Also on his list is a used Pass INT-30a and a Bryton 135 cubed.
 
My son owns the Cary and we put it head to head with a $10k Luxman integrated and the Cary was better. The Cary had a much fuller midrange, was more dynamic, had better bass. The luxman had a lighter sound and slightly more detail but sounded thin in comparison on a pair of Wilson speakers.
