Hi everyone, the team here has been very busy the past few months working on our new forum (new software, new design, new look and feel, all the data migration, better for iOS and Android.)

We anticipate the switch over to happen in the next few days.

The old software was no longer supported and we held it together with a lot of patch work. So…it was time!

One thing you all might have to do is RESET your passwords. These are all hidden and encrypted (for obvious reasons). So, they likely can’t be brought over.

Thanks for your patience and I hope you all enjoy the new site! We hope this new platform will also help us grow Audioshark.

Thank you,

Mike

Thanks for the update, Mike. Just a quick question, once the new "build' is implemented, will we be prompted to re-set our password, or is it something we should go into our accounts to do once you're up and running? Thank in advance. Cheers.

Wait until it’s live.

The plan is to switch over Sunday. Remember, you guys will likely have to reset your passwords. Click the password reset and it will be emailed to you based on your email you registered with.

If you don’t have access to that email any more, create a new account. I don’t have the time to reset 97,000 passwords.

Thanks for the heads up. I hope the new page is as easy to navigate as this one. The "go to first new post" button was invaluable.
Yup, just click the words “what’s new” at the top (the main menu, not from the drop down).

Glad things are back up and running.

Nothing wrong with the visual presentation of the old site but WOW this is very nice.
It might take the place of my morning coffee. Well, maybe not quite that but is sure opens your eyes. In a good way.

Nice upgrade Mike. It will take a little time to get used to the new aesthetic but the performance is crisp and very responsive. Thanks for making the investment effort in time and resources to make this happen.

BTW- I had no problems with the migration to the new forum. Simply reset my password and all is good.

Glad it was smooth! Thanks for checking things.

I'll echo what's already been said, nice upgrade Mike. Hope it went "smooth", all seems to be working.

I'm in and the new forum is working smoothly. I didn't have to re-set my password, either. Thanks, Mike, I'm sure this was a pretty heavy "lift" for the team. Cheers.

Mike, Good job!! No password reset required. Doesn't look like it will be much of a learning process for most of us.
