New Bryston CD Player

Congrats on the very positive review of the BCD-3 in the latest Absolute Sound!
 
Hi James,

I have had the Bryston BCD-3 CD Player for about a week and a half now. Been doing a lot of serious listening in that time.

Jaw dropping is the first thought that comes to mind!

This player replaces the BCD-1 which I thought "It can't get any better than this!" Well it did. How much information are on these cd's?

This has taken my all Bryston system to a much higher level.Kudos to you for pushing for this player against the wishes of others.

James.......Just finished reading the Absolute Sound review of the Bryston BCD-3. It sounds like a remarkable CD player that has been fully optimized for the CD format. I like that the transport was specifically designed and built strictly for the 44.1 format. I also like that you did not overlook the SPDIF digital output. I think you have a real winner with the BCD-3.
 
This is one of those pieces you just buy it and keep it. With Bryston warranty, why sell?

I just purchased one and am patiently awaiting its arrival from my dealer. I was initially looking for a SACD player but once I read the reviews my thought process changed.
