I've seen that; totally bad-ass, and real outside-the-box thinking. However...if I understand it correctly; it needs to be at the seating position...so you can control your iPad. Which means you'll have to run cables all the way from it, to the system.

Squeezebox had the same short-sightedness, with their Touch.

I think the other short-sightedness Logitech had (or just plain boneheadedness) was cutting the Squeezebox Touch in it's prime of popularity. My opinion.

The design is to hold the iPad if you want to
But not necessary to control it
