NetFlix down 200,000 subscribers and the affects are felt

I’ve been a Netflix customer for DVD rentals since they started in the late 90s. However, just today I decided to drop the service since I might watch a movie every month or two. It’s interesting how ones taste change over time. I was really into home theater for a while, but lost interest for some reason.

Netflix shed 700,000 customers when it withdrew its service from Russia. If not for that, it would have added 500,000 subscribers. I have been following NFLX for a while and I like their offerings such as "Queen's Gambit", "Squid Game". I was considering to invest in their stocks, however, I saw an article on Fool.com a couple months ago adviced not buying its stock (too risky). After yesterday's big drop, now Fool.com has an article saying may be now it is a buy?

been a Netflix customer for 3 plus years now, started at less than 10 bucks a month, now over 15. If they in fact do go to commercials they can shove it up their bung hole ....... :snicker:

I’m up to $19.99 for Netflix 4k. I think that is up over $5 in the last few years. Not sure how muck more I’m willing to pay since we are also pay for Hulu, Apple TV, PBS Masterpiece, Britbox, and add to that my ridiculous DIRECTV package. Yikes.
