Nelson Mandela ceremony sign language interpreter a 'fake'

Bob,

This is funny too me.
Misery and corruption in South Africa are awful. Such things happen in such countries.
I feel sorry for the frustration that the deaf people felt by seeing this guy.
Still I find the guy and the story really funny.
We need more clowns in this world. :)

You think they'd figure something was up after a little while but he was there the whole day.

Yes Joe, it took them a while to figure it out. By that time all the damage was already done.

And at some news websites; you can see Obama speaking with that guy next to him making complete non-sense signs!
- I think they removed the youtube videos because it was too embarrassing for the president next to that guy (impostor) who has insulted the entire world community for the deaf people.
And by the way, Obama shook hands with Cuba's president Raoul Castro (Fidel's brother).

* Jerome, I am aware of the real situation in South Africa, like right now. It is extremely sad; in some regions women, children and men are being decapitated by the hundreds at the hands of brutal murderers under the tyranny of the worst kind of dictatorship. It is alarming in some regions and the world community (UN) is demanding immediate intervention as this is becoming epidemic of grandiose proportion. Many innocent lives are taken away and more will. ...All in the name of power, control, money. ...Crimes against humanity.
Zip (no) education at all, extreme poverty, crimes abound, drugs, ...

We have it very easy here in America, and in Europe. ...Compared to the atrocities committed in many regions of the globe, not just in South Africa.

We have so much road to travel ahead of us, so much progress has to be made; more equality, more sharing, more freedom, and more Madibas (people like Nelson).
It takes a lot of awareness, courage, action, and forgiveness too.
But above all else; the right education for the entire world. Only then universal peace will come. ...I think.

Anyhow, this guy is/was a total fake and it is amazing that they let him act for the entire show (ceremony)!
I don't even know if they found him yet.

He has "Zero percent accuracy"…..I probably would have gotten something right, just by chance.

You sorta do wonder about how this company came to be selected and how they hire their interpreters????
