Neil young - old man

Love it and thanks Joe! That looks like it might be from the Massey Hall January 19, 1971 recording. One of my favorite albums of all time and the first album I picked to listen to on Mikes's system when I was visiting him last month. There is another version of "Old Man" on his Live at the Cellar Door album from May 19, 1969 that is different and that I like just as much. The Cellar Door also has the coolest version of "Expecting to Fly" (side 1 track 4), from Neil's Buffalo Springfield days that is unreal. When I bought these albums I thought, why would I need 2 Neil Young live albums from about the same time frame with a lot of the same songs? Well..... because they are both amazing and you get Neil on 2 different nights, terrific recordings, great music, and I never get tired of hearing them. Highly recommend getting both!

As much as I like Massey Hall, I much prefer Live at the Cellar Door.
 
Thanks, I love this. I first thought it was Massey Hall (and maybe it is from a different night?) but the story he tells is slightly different so it's not the same performance from the Massey Hall album.

Makes me want to go spin some Neil...
