Hello guys, I’m planning to buy an AMP. I’ve been researching it for the past few days. I have thought about buying a Marshall MG15FX, which is coming under my budget. What are your thoughts on it? Or should I reconsider it?
Yeah I know, don't we have a single AMP that can work as both guitar and home audio?
The amp you asked about is a dedicated guitar amp. It's mono. It does have an input to allow some type of music play along, still mono and the speaker is picked for guitar so will not play full range. The amp is only 15 watts which could get loud with a 6 string but not much for music program. In short music will not likely sound good. Also, playing full range through that amp could eventually damage the speaker.
Here are a few amps to look at that are stereo picked by AI. You'll have to look at them for price and features. I think some have built-in speakers where others will need speakers. The self contained would probably be better if you plan to move it around much. Keep in mind AI is not always 100% accurate.
