My system

Bud,

You really did a great job. I'd love to hear it. I am sure it's wonderful.

Bud, congrats on your terrific system! The S5's are remarkable speakers, and you are feeding them plenty of Class A power which should give you a lot of bottom end grip and headroom. Warm, tube-like amps such as Pass are a good match with the S5's imho. Also, good show with your audio racks. I am a fan of Mapleshade as well. They make good value bulletproof racks which look beautiful. Btw, it looks like you went for the bronze M-cast finish, though it's hard to tell from the photo? :hmmm: Overall, good job Bud!

Cheers,
Bodhi.

Bodhi, yes the speakers are bronze. I didn't have any choice on the color since I bought used. Our very own Mike, site founder, made an offer, on a Friday night no less, that I couldn't refuse.

Believe me, the S5s are well aware of what they can do with 1200 watts of Pass power. A couple of months after I got them I accidentally blew the tweeter and mid-range on the right speaker. When that occurred I was just absolutely amazed at what was occurring. I was literally being pounded by the sound, and could not believe how good it sounded while being so loud.

Oh yes yes, I read all about what unfolded with your S5's. That sucked, but you got great service from Magico who got your speakers back to factory spec. I'm sure you're a bit worn, but wiser for the experience. Now you can sit back and enjoy your amazing S5's :) I'm glad Mike looked after you with the deal on your speakers. He is a fair minded bloke.

Your system looks like one of most fun system on AS. Congrats!

What a great setup, Bud, congrats! Love my S5s as I know you do, too!

Yes, can't wait to hear the new Q series with the new tweeter. Think Goodwins will be getting theirs sometime in April!:exciting:
