Comments and constructive criticism welcomed.
End game? Maybe not, but Iit sounds great to me and I'm in no immediate hurry to change things. This was about 2 years in the making, replacing all prior gear. The whole thing comes in under the cost of one piece of some of the serious high-end components I see posted here. Don't get me wrong - I'd be buying that stuff in a heartbeat if I had the spare change. Here's what we're looking at. (I haven't gotten into streaming yet, strictly playing CDs).
Transport: TEAC pd 507T
DAC: Primaluna EVO 100
Integrated: Primaluna EVO 300
Speakers: Fyne F501 SP
Subs: REL T9x SE
Super tweeters: Fyne S-Trax
Cardas Nautilus strip
Power cords / speaker wires / interconnects: Cardas Clear Cygnus
Digital cable between transport and DAC: Cardas Clear coax
Wires out of speakers to the RELS and S-trax: Iconoclast
Vibration control: Isoacoustics under everything
Rack: Well, no rack. I'm using a black walnut table
Feline beds-of-nails: Amazon
Everything taken into account, ~ low $30s.
