I'm looking forward to setting this thing up this weekend. I got a nice deal on a demo unit

I'm with you. I'm rigging my current cheap rack into two smaller racks so it can sit on the top shelf along with my TT. The next purchase will be a new rack/shelf. Anyway. I got this heavy thing up on the rack and I have #40 of 300. It was a showroom demo, however, it looks like nobody touched it. I mean nobody. The dealer placed everything..side padding. slipcover, tape etc as if it was new. The remote, manual, and power cable were never removed from their packaging. I guess in the showroom, one does not need the remote and they probably used whatever power cables that were already installed. I can't wait to listen tomorrow...I'm done for the night.

I am hoping to actually power on and listen to the 595 this weekend. We have been so busy I have not had time to even plug it in.

I have been listening and this amp sounds amazing. I do not have my TT hooked back up yet....I'm just streaming Qobuz right now. Being a demo unit, I'm not certain how much the unit was played. So I do not know if any more "break in" is needed. Anyway, out of the box, I'm very happy. My speakers have been moved around, etc...so I will work on properly setting up my listening area over the next couple of days.

Arcman and Music Man, congratulations on a very fine choice of amplifier! Enjoy!!!

Nice video, I had a listen to the MA8950 and was not impressed for the money, they are over $15k in Europe.

In my system the Luxman is in a different league especially driving high efficiency speakers. So I think that dealer did you a big favour!

My L959A SE is getting better and better with each day.
