After the measurements, this is are Technical data:
2½- way surround loudspeakers,
Frequence Range; 33-25000 Hz
Long term Max Power; 200 W
Crossover Frequency; 2800 Hz
Impedance; 4 Ohms
Sensitivity; 90 db SPL
Cabinet Volume; 31l
Gross weight / without stand /; 27kg.
This is the project of the rear speakers, will finish it with "Bird's eye view".

how do you like the seas, i am considering a design using there drivers

I know in detail the production of SEAS, these are very good drivers that allow the construction of projects with loudspeakers above the HI-FI mid-range. I have measured over 40 from the same products, there is no difference in their technical characteristics - fact!
P.S.
My last purchase of SEAS speakers was about six years ago, in a Bulgarian "DIY-Audio" forum, at this point in time, a very competent member of the forum shared that the Norwegians have started to compromise on quality, keep it in mind please!

Actually, I was trying to answer you at the moment, but the distance certainly speaks for itself. This is my legal system for measuring my speakers;

So are you using gated or ground plane to measure ..?

Could you list more specific data ,
Sensitivity: distance and power
Impedance : min and nominal
FR +/- deviation over usable bandwidth

When constructing the cabinet of a loudspeaker, must be found determine speaker acoustic center.
First of all, determining the speaker acoustic center is useful when designing loudspeaker crossovers. The point from where the speaker is radiating sound is somewhere near the voice coil area. As a result, big speakers, like woofers, have the acoustic center somewhat in the back. On the other hand, tweeters, which are more shallow, are in front, acoustically, compared to woofers. This offset, whether expressed in units of time or distance, must be taken into account to have an accurate representation of the phase between the drivers of the loudspeaker.
Let's look at our situation;
The configuration of SEAS speakers;

I’m making the measurement using sweeps from 200 Hz till 20 kHz. Not going down till 20 Hz for 2 reasons. First, my room only accommodates accurate measurement only till 200 Hz. Second, starting from 200 Hz protects the tweeter. The loudspeaker is placed on a small box to raise it up slightly. This is to place the speaker in the center of the room and reduce early room reflections. The microphone is placed at 1.2 m from the floor, on the same axis with the middle of the midrange driver. Microphone is 1 meter away from the speaker.
I take a total of four measurements. .
The topic of the constructive placement of speakers on the front panel of the cabinets / or elsewhere / is extensive and cannot be described briefly.
I assume you have information on the subject and I have roughly answered your question as to .

Sounds like you are using gated measurements , if so 500 hz would be realistic for accuracy in a big room, with speakers 8 feet off floor ( tweeter height) ..!

You always have to start with a simulation somehow, I start with cardboard boxes , I'm currently working on a project with a sphere - again with cardboard.
The acoustic center is always neglected by speaker manufacturers, they just don't pay attention to it. In fact, the subject is very vast, I have no problem convincing you of my methods of building DIY loudspeakers, I am 63 years old and should be supposed to be knowledgeable the rules for their construction.

I dont get how a technical question turns into a joke fest , usually from those still clueless swinging nails and hammer pretending to be in the know ..!

I dont do DIY projects like you AJ, nor did i keep my JBL speaker purchases like the one MEP has (40 yrs ago ) , no sir i actually got paid to design and build stuff , from recording studios to hi end hifi stores, yes my designs actually sold in stores , hi end retail stores ...


BTW , My yeti horns are gonna be kept under wraps for now , but dont mind, i do enjoy coming down to talk and catch up on the many cognitive dissonant circular chit chat of the modern audiophile :)
