A few shots of the New Nova II phono stage......
A few upgrades over the prior Nova:
New casework with silver or black anodized finish.
Improved resonance isolation for main board and battery power supply.
5dB better signal-to-noise ratio.
Now with super matched transistor pair input for improved linearity and sonic performance.
New for 2013, the Nova II builds on the success of the Nova Phonomena with improved fully discrete circuitry and better casework.
Built entirely in Mount Shasta, California, the Nova II features designer Michael Yee’s “Smart-Sensing” battery PSU which automatically disconnects from the incoming AC power when the Nova II is in use. This battery PSU uses a separate NiMH battery pack for each stereo channel. The Nova II also features a push button switch on the front of the unit for manual switching in and out of charging mode.
The Nova II features a wide range of gain and loading settings that are easily accessible on the back panel via DIP switches. This wide range of adjustability allows for use of the Nova II with any phono cartridge on the market today.
Available in silver and black finishes.
Specifications:
Gain Switches: 40, 44, 46, 48, 50, 51.5, 52.7, 53.7, 56, 57.5, 58.4, 59.4, 60dB
Input Loading Switches: 200pF/300pF, 30, 40, 50, 59, 80, 100, 121, 150, 243, 280, 380, 475, 660, 1k, 2k, 50k, 100k Ohms
