Vitus RI-100 DAC board finally ready for display in Munich.

After a much longer development period than ever before, the RI-100 DAC module is finally in its prepoduction face.

Nagra is presenting the next generation of its power amplifiers. The highlight of the show will be the new HD amplifiers, mono amplifiers able to deliver tremendous power. While Nagra has always provided no-compromise products, the new paradigm to design the HD AMP was no limits in terms of dimensions and weight. The result is massive, yet elegant, monoblocks weighing around 60 kg each and packed with top components!

Another “world-première” is the commercial introduction of the Classic AMP. This is a 2x 100 Watt amplifier that will replace the MSA. It has undergone a complete re-work with in-depth redesign, including new transformer and new power supply as well as a very ambitious input stage. Demonstrations of the Classic Amp will alternate with the HD AMP.

Awesome! I can't wait to hear how these new S series speakers sound & how close they get to the M Pro. If the S7's are received well, I could see the current S series stable benefitting from filter down technology from the S7 which is a tasty thought!:satisfying:.

I'm only luke warm about this finish, I prefer 'natural' for all my Vitus components. But great to see the heavily revised/updated SCD-025 at Munich! :thumbsup:
 
The new thing.
Let's make our speakers out of exotic materials so they will produce these really strange resonances. They will be extremely heavy so a person is unable to move them into the correct position to obtain good stereo imaging and avoid room modes. Then we can sell them at unheard of prices because we have told the high end audio enthusiast that they are superior speakers. What a sales model.
